Fortescue Bay on the Tasman Peninsula is a beautiful beach and the start of many walks within the Tasman National Park.

The walks include Canoe Bay (2 hours return), Bivouac Bay (3 hours return), Cape Hauy (4 hours return) and Cape Pillar (2 day return walk).

There is a campground just next to the beach with over 40 sites - more info here.

Note that the road down to Fortescue Bay from the Tasmani Highway can be quite rough. Drive carefully and avoid the nasty pot holes.
