MONA
MONA is an exciting museum and art gallery just north of Hobart. The main themes of MONA are sex and death.
MONA was created by David Walsh, an eccentric professional gambler, and opened in January 2011. It has since attracted great crowds from all over the world and has had a big impact on tourism in Tasmania.
MONA is also behind 2 cultural festivals, MOFO (summer) and Dark MOFO (winter).
