Wineglass Bay
Wineglass Bay is a world famous beach on the Freycinet Peninsula in Tasmania. It is regularly voted as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
It takes about 1 hour walking across the Hazards to get to the beach. Is it well worth the effort.
Freycinet is quite a busy place in summer but most of the visitors stop at the main lookout, about half-way to the beach.
TIP : Buy some oysters at a local oyster farm, grab a cold bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, some bread and cheese... have a great picnic on the beach !
