Jason L. Stephens

I am a self taught Photographer, who has enjoyed Photography from the day I first purchased a DSLR in September 2011.

I hope to be able to continue to improve, showcase Tasmania, and be able to inspire and help others find the enjoyment that Photography can bring to a person.

I can not explain how relaxing it feels to be on a beach, mountain, side of the road at all times of the day, watching the sunrise or sunset, stars shining...or even the odd Aurora gracing our Southern sky, but hope you can see that through my images.

I have a passion for Tasmania, and love being in the great outdoors exploring what this beautiful State of Australia has to offer, and hopefully bring it to you via my photographs!

Photos on this page are Copyright Images, please do not remove, crop or attempt to claim any of my images as your own on other sites.

Mt Roland, Sheffield - Tasmania. 08/05/14

Last night I ventured out with my good mate Kyle Rodgers, we went to this location in hope the Aurora would put on a nice display as we had been planning to shoot here for quite some time!

The weather was almost perfect, no breeze, the moon had enough strength to light the foreground, and lucky enough to not smother the Aurora!

It was an amazing sight for a small time, as soon as it peaked....it was gone in a matter of minutes!

Thanks again for sharing this location with me Kyle, was a night I will not forget in a long time!

"I can not express in words the excitement, joy, peacefulness of turning up to Bridport last night on sunset in pretty ordinary weather and being treated to this visual experience, so I would rather just leave you all with my vision. A moment I will not forget for a long time to come, just amazing!"
