Nature in Tasmania > Plants >  Fungi

images 360 panoramas

Tasmania is well know for its mosses and fungi. They are as varied as beautiful.

Fungi can be seen at any time of the year but the best time is autumn and winter in rainforest areas.

Near Hobart a good spot is the foothills of Mt Wellington (Fern Glade track between Fern Tree and The Springs is a good one).
