The tallest flowering plant in the world, the Eucalyptus regnans (aka swamp gum or Tasmanian oak or mountain ash) is on full display at Mount Field National Park. Eucalypus regnans can reach heights of over 100m, making it currently the third tallest tree in the world after the coast redwood and the coast Douglas-fir (oregon pine).
